The All-New Nissan LEAF Awarded 2026 Car Of The Year

The All-New Nissan LEAF was awarded three wins from the Auto Express New Car Awards.

• The All-New Nissan LEAF has taken home three titles from the Auto Express New Car Awards including the overall 2026 Car of the Year.

  As the third generation of the mass-market electric car, the All-New Nissan LEAF is the result of building upon 15 years of Nissan EV expertise. Against intense competition, the All-New Nissan LEAF won in three categories in the prestigious awards.

  The Auto Express team have recognised the impressive comfort, range and technology in the All-New Nissan LEAF. It has been recognised by Auto Express as being perfect for fleet and business customers, awarding it the win for Small Company Car of the Year.

  With its competitive starting price of £28,849, which includes the £3,750 Electric Car Grant, the LEAF was also named winner for the Affordable Electric Car of the Year. The LEAF’s original mission of being a Leading, Environmentally friendly, Affordable Family car, its acronym, showcases their commitment to creating affordable electric cars.

  The title of 2026 Auto Express Car of the Year was also awarded to the All-New Nissan LEAF. Against impressive competitors across the automotive industry, the LEAF was able to take home the overall win.

  The LEAF has joined other Nissan cars that have been awarded at the New Car Awards. In 2022, the ARIYA was named the Car of the Year whilst in 2018, the Qashqai was awarded Car of the Past 30 Years plus the Technology Award for the second-generation LEAF.
