Pre-work review 1/5 stars: I have just dropped off a work van this morning to have some work done on it on behalf of a company. I spoke with a man called Daniel Burgham at reception. He appeared unfriendly and wasn’t pleasant to deal with. He was rude when I said hello and introduced myself. He also did not smile once during my interaction with him. Extending on this, not one member of staff I seen here smiled or appeared happy. My experience was not a pleasant one and I would personally not take a car here myself. I’d rate the customer experience as zero if I could. If you take the time to look through the other 1 star reviews regarding this place, it appears a common theme that ‘Yeomans’ has an appalling reputation for customer service. I’ll update this review after the work has been completed. Hopefully this won’t take months as other 1 star reviews have highlighted. ————————————————————— Post-work Review update 5/5 stars: (I want to highlight that this review update was after Yeoman’s seen my 1 star review which they voiced they had seen to me directly) Contact was made by Yeoman’s the same day the van was dropped off to them. They communicated the issue with the van. The van was ready to collect the next day early in the morning. All work completed. I was met by a gentlemen called Will who introduced himself. He was pleasant, respectful and professional in his conduct. Will walked me to the van giving me the key and brought up the 1 star review I had left yesterday. Will apologised on behalf of Daniel Burgham and gave some context for my experience the previous day. Will did this in a professional manner which displayed respect. I took a mental note of that. He told me that the van had been washed which was definitely appreciated too. He shook my hand and wished me a good a day before i left. Had this of been my experience from the start, I’d of given a 5 star review. The fact it took an initial 1 star review to receive this customer experience is the reason for my fair overall review. 3/5 stars. I hope in the future, if the company I work for uses this place again. I receive the same customer experience I did post-work. It was professional and they went above and beyond (by washing the van) what I’d expect from a company whose services were being paid for.

I had the privilege of meeting with Katrina back in February when expressing interest in the Nissan qashquai. Katrina is still learning the ropes of a car sales assistant role, she maintained her professionalism throughout with regular contact and responding in a timely manner to any concerns I had leading to the date of collection. I even threw a spanner in the works when I pulled my part exchange out 3 days before collection. It is important to read the crowd you are working with, and knowing who you can and cannot banter with, Katrina read us as a family well, and created a relaxed approachable relationship. I was able to express my concerns I had on reflection from initially purchasing the car, Katrina took the information on board for her learning, as of mine. The finance agreement I was signing up for came in a particular colour for that deal. I was happy to except the colour, however, the colour (green) was not going to be available in time for the end of March. Katrina was informed by her manager that she could offer me 4 alternative colours, of which I choose, ceramic grey. In order to avoid the cost of the paint they offered to increase my part exchange price to cover the cost, from £1,000 to £1744 I naively excepted this and did not challenge it any further. As time had gone on I had time to reflect and started to question why myself as the customer was being penalised to pay the cost of the paint at an additional £744, when it was not my fault the colour green was not available. I pulled my part exchange out as I was offered more for my original car, and therefore I then had to pay in cash. Katrina listened to the concerns I raised and sympathised and understood where myself as the customer was coming from. I do not feel this has any reflection on the service Katrina provided, she is learning and can only provide the knowledge she has learnt so far in her training. However, as she was seeking guidance from above I do feel the outcome could have been better, I.e. not charging the customer for the paint, as it was no decision of mine to change the colour. On the day of purchase, Katrina thoroughly explained the car and even sat in the car whilst I drove it around the block to get used to the car, I was unable to do this on the day of interest, so initially felt uneasy. Katrina checked back in a few days later to see how I was getting on with car, a thorough friendly service. I wish you all the best as you establish yourself in your career path. Many thanks, Sam.

Amazing service at this dealership. Chloe was patient with our numerous queries, being prepared to spend time with us and always with a smile. We are very pleased with our new car and should we have any query or concern in our early days we will have no hesitation in visiting the showroom. Not only did they help guide us through then Selection process, but also made sure the collection and handover of our new Nissan went as smoothly as possible. Their approach is considered and they always make sure they recommend an appropriate vehicle that meets your needs. Having visited various car show rooms where the service was extremely off putting, I decided to go to Nissan as my current car was a Qashqai. I was left to browse the cars outside without being ‘pounced on’. I then had a few questions regarding one of the cars so went into the showroom. I was met by Katrina who was able to give me lots of information regarding the car I was looking at. Katrina allowed me to test drive the car and answer yet more questions along the way. Katrina was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I then decided to buy the car and the process was very straightforward. I was kept in the loop via email and phone calls and when it was handover day it couldn’t have gone any smoother. When I decide to get a new car in 5/6 years I really hope Katrina still works there!! My wife and I visited Nissan just to have a look at a hybrid car. Not knowing anything about them our sales adviser Katrina Moss was very helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us a good overview and answered all our questions. At no point did we feel pressured to buy and our visit was a pleasant one. We did eventually find a car we liked and we were navigated through the purchasing procedures. All Nissan options were explained very well and we both fealt confident with our choice of car and the assistance given throughout our visit. Katrina’s sales techniques and pleasant manner throughout our visit was excellent and this has continued through to us picking up our new car and all our aftercare to date. I visited Yeomans Nissan for a free service offered to me as a gesture of goodwill from Nissan GB following a pretty dismal experience last year where it took Yeomans Nissan 4 months for 2 new keys for my Qashqai. Constant broken promises of receiving calls at an agreed time, not phoning me to let me know when it was finally done despite them knowing I was waiting around for it with 2 kids and generally just feeling as though they didn’t want or need my business (at over £400 for 2 new keys, I assumed that at that price it would be quite lucrative for them as far as targets are concerned). I can’t say I expected much this time around, fully expecting this to be my last ever visit, but Simon in the service team was outstanding. He went above and beyond by locating some service history that had been lost that he was able to find on his system from a Nissan dealer up north, increasing the future saleability of my car, and was just a genuine guy. He apologised for my previous experience and explained that they are doing what they can to restore faith that may have been lost in recent months. With Simon alone, they have definitely achieved that with me. Fantastic service, faith restored and I look forward to coming back. Night and day compared with the car crash of a service I became used to. Well done Simon.

The Advisor Caitlin was so helpful and professional . There was no rushing me. Nothing was too much trouble. I had lots of questions. Caitlin was very knowledgeable about the vehicles available and what they could do! Arranged for a test drive in Qashqai. Had the car all afternoon. Needless to say I did buy one! Informed me when the vehicle would be available for delivery. Was sent a pre message with a video showing me my car was ready to collect. Went to collect my new car and it was in the showroom covered up ready for the unveiling. Nice touch! Very impressed. Would definitely recommend this company.

It was a complete contrast to another dealership in Plymouth which I'd previously been to that day where I'd basically been ignored.
