Nissan Updates The Nissan Ariya
Nissan has announced plans to enhance the Nissan Ariya for model year 2026. The Ariya has symbolised Nissan’s vision for electric mobility with a strong performance and a spacious interior. The enhanced update looks at building on its refreshing exterior design, elevated ride comfort and new features for everyday electric driving.
Inspired by ‘Timeless Japanese Futurism’ design philosophy, Nissan have evolved the Ariya with a redesigned front appearance for a more seamless look. It creates a minimalist presence with the reinterpreted V-Motion. Complementing its new design are 19-inch wheels and an additional colour palette, Plasma Green colour, which is inspired by natural light phenomena. Additionally, there is a redesigned central console with an increased storage space up to 3.2L.
The 2026 Nissan Ariya will also be equipped with the latest generation of NissanConnect with Google built-in for a more seamless and connected experience both inside and outside of the car. Travel planning is effortless with the In-Car Route Planner by Google Maps. Activated by voice commands, Google Maps will be able to plan the most efficient route with any necessary charging stops along the way.
With NissanConnect, the driver will be able to monitor the battery levels and manage charging sessions, adjust the climate settings in the car and track the tyre pressure directly from their phone.
The 2026 Nissan Ariya will support Vehicle-to-Load with its 11-kW bi-directional on-board charger. Additionally, it also supports DC rapid charging with speeds up to 13kW making long distance travel more efficient.
Further updates have been done to the suspension. The 2026 Nissan Ariya will deliver improved stability, reduced vibrations and an overall smoother ride, especially when covering long distances.
For enhanced safety, the ProPILOT advanced driver assistance systems include adaptive distance control functions and supporting a relaxed driving experience in traffic with stop-and-go by assisting with acceleration and deceleration, reducing driver fatigue.
The 2026 Nissan Ariya will be on sale from June, with a starting price of £37,000 and deliveries expected from September.
