Yeomans Nissan Plymouth are seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-driven Automotive Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in expanding our automotive sales network, fostering strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of B2B sales, and experience in sales management within the automotive sector. Multilingual abilities and proficiency with CRM software are highly desirable to effectively engage with diverse clients and streamline sales processes.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to identify new business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients whilst actively seeking new prospects through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Utilise CRM software to track customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status efficiently.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs, emphasising the value propositions of our automotive solutions.
Upsell additional products or services to maximise revenue from existing clients while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and technical support to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis for strategic planning purposes.
Requirements
- Automotive B2B sales: 2 years (required)
- Driving license (required)
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the automotive sector.
- Strong sales management skills with a track record of achieving or surpassing targets.
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are highly advantageous for engaging diverse client bases.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and professional presentation capabilities.
- Organised with strong organisational skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate confidently and build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development and problem-solving skills.
