The Nissan Note is a real favourite of Yeomans’ customers and it’s easy to see why. This clever little car offers the space of a much larger car with the compact dimensions and running costs of a small hatchback. Ingenious interior design means it will fit perfectly into your life, whether you are popping to the shops or transporting your teenagers away on holiday. The huge boot means it could be the best car for pet owners too. Now production of the car has ended from the Sunderland factory, we’ve been sure to make sure we have stock of used models to keep Note fans happy!

Exterior

The upright profile of the Note gives it a distinctive look with makes it stand out among a sea of low-slung hatchbacks. But it’s far from being van-like, thanks to a bold front end design, stylish tail lights and distinctive sculpted sides. The wheels have been tucked into the corners too, which gives a sportier appearance and improves space of passengers inside.

Interior

The interior of the Note is ingenious and is what makes customers love it. Despite its compact exterior dimensions, there is more room for passengers and luggage than you’d find in far bigger cars. Even some SUVs are beaten for space by the Note!

As it is also a little taller than the average hatchback, the Note is much easier to get into, especially for anyone with limited mobility.

Performance

The Nissan Note has a range of three engines to choose from, catering for all types of driver. There are two powered by petrol which are both 1.2-litre and have an unusual three-cylinder layout to ensure maximum efficiency. One of these has a supercharger to give an extra performance boost while still remaining efficient.

If fuel economy is your priority then there’s also a 1.5-litre turbo diesel which can provide a surprising turn of speed along with exceptional fuel efficiency.

Safety and technology

Like all Nissans, the Note has technology which you’d expect to find on bigger, more expensive cars such as smartphone connectivity, navigation and reversing cameras. The Note was also the first in its class to introduce ‘Safety Shield’ tech which aims to prevent accidents with a suite of gadgets including land departure warning and moving object detection. As a result, the independent testing organisation Euro NCAP awarded the Note an impressive four star score in crash tests.
