The new Nissan Qashqai has been updated for refreshed and modern styling. The updated front grille for a striking frost impression includes 3D comma-shaped elements that float in between the bonnet and number plate. The new headlights enhance sharpness by incorporating small lenses in the same comma shape as the newly designed grille. Upgrades to the alloy wheels complete the redesigned exterior, with 18” diamond-cut alloy wheels as standard and new 19” and 20” alloy wheels as optional for the higher trims.
In the upper-grade trims, the new Alcantara® features across the cabin include the dashboard, door inserts, door armrests, and centre storage console lid. Upgraded seat trims have been introduced across the Qashqai range, with quilted premium leather on the top-spec Qashqai and the addition of the new 64 multi-colour ambient lighting, so you can create your own oasis.
In addition to the upgrades to the exterior and interior of the new Qashqai, there has been plenty of upgraded technology. The Around View Monitor system now includes a 3D function, allowing the driver to view the car from one of eight viewpoints, including the front, rear, sides, or corners, to potentially identify any unseen hazards. As well as the invisible hood view, it allows the driver to position the wheels as if looking at them from just behind, allowing better manoeuvring.
Additionally, the new Qashqai has Google built-in, making it one of the first vehicles in the European range to have this feature, which is part of the infotainment system. The built-in assistance comes with Google Maps, which connects to your personal Google account, so you have your favourite locations saved in one place for easy access. Just say ‘Hey Google’ to remotely control the vehicle’s ventilation system, heated seats, and windscreen so you can keep your attention on the road.
Equipped with the Nissan e-POWER, it offers customers a unique and innovative powertrain that directs electric power straight to the wheels. Choose the pure electric motor driving experience, which means no gearbox, high torque, and linear response. The e-POWER is a great stepping stone for customers who aren't ready to drive straight into 100% EV. The role of an advanced turbocharged 3-cylinder engine is to generate electricity that is sent to the inverter of the 140 kW electric motor or 1.8 kwh battery. The engine works quietly in the background to recharge the battery and motor.
