Nissan is committed to customer convenience and peace of mind therefore has introduced the new Stolen Vehicle Tracking function available though NissanConnect Services app.
This new Stolen Vehicle Tracking (SVT) is a subscription service in collaboration with Vodafone Automotive, Nissan's service provider. This function will allow customers to connect their vehicle and track its location using the vehicle's GPS. Vodafone Automotive will be able to collaborate with law enforcement authorities to track the stolen vehicle and coordinate its recovery. Vodafone also has the ability to deactivate the ignition remotely if instructed by authorities.

Stolen Vehicle Tracking is available with the Nissan ARIYA and Qashqai, produced from June 2022, and the X-Trail, produced from September 2022. Customers can check if their vehicle is equipped with the feature by going into the Nissan Store section of the NissanConnect Services app. If their vehicle is compatible, the customer will be able to activate the subscription worth £99. Stolen Vehicle Tracking features 24/7 support for Nissan owners, instant notification if the vehicle is being towed, and direct communication between Vodafone Automotive and law enforcement.
This new feature enhances the NissanConnect Services app with the existing features, including remote control of the horn and lights, remote door locking and unlocking, and a car locator. In the electric range, you can also benefit from remote climate control, so you can pre-heat or cool your vehicle before setting off on your journey. The Stolen Vehicle Tracking feature is now available on the app with a 12 month subscription.
