The new Nissan Qashqai has taken centre stage in what is being hailed as the world’s top marketing campaign this week, thanks to a striking new launch. Titled "Elevate Your Urban Drive," the campaign features a series of computer-generated videos showcasing the Nissan Qashqai being flown across the UK, suspended by drones.
The car is seen gliding past iconic landmarks with vertical parking bays labelled "reserved for Qashqai." The dramatic climax of the film shows the British-built SUV being placed atop the 49-meter-high chimney of the historic Truman Brewery in East London. This digital spectacle was further enhanced by a life-sized Qashqai model prominently displayed on the 200-year-old landmark, drawing attention from passers-by and making headlines in major UK news outlets.

The "Elevate Your Urban Drive" campaign also featured activations on Newcastle’s Quayside, just a short distance from Sunderland, where the Qashqai is manufactured. A massive poster was displayed on the side of the iconic Baltic gallery to coincide with the start of the Great North Run, celebrating the car’s local heritage and the participation of over 300 Nissan employees in the half-marathon.
Following this, a series of activations brought the campaign’s tagline to life. These included an Instagram AR filter and a social media influencer event that celebrated British design icons. The event kicked off at Nissan’s design headquarters in Paddington, where every Qashqai model has been developed since 2006.
