Are you an automotive Parts or Stock Specialist looking for a new challenge or wish to progress? If so, we are now recruiting for a Parts Advisor for Honda Churt!

The role entails working in our busy parts department, assisting our customers, workshop, body shops and other motor traders with parts related enquiries and sales, stock maintenance and planning, accountancy and reporting.

As you would expect with a position of this importance, the training will surpass that of other manufacturers and industries and includes on-going new model technology and customer service courses from Yeomans / external coaching staff. This industry leading training is complimented by excellent earning potential.

The remuneration will comprise a basic package and a monthly bonus scheme based on departmental success and profit.

Parts Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Serving mainly an internal customer base
  • Ensuring concise stock controls
  • Attending regular stock takes
  • Goods inwards and outwards duties
  • Maintaining Company and Manufacturer administration
  • Departmental housekeeping including warranty controls.

Requirements

The ideal Parts Advisor:

  • Automotive Parts experience for Honda is an advantage
  • Is flexible, hard-working and able to work under pressure.
  • Highly motivated and physically capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has a UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of Kerridge and/or other DMS preferred

You will be very competent and capable both on the telephone and in person, be experienced with multi-tasking along with very good administration and PC skills with a background in the motor trade parts department.

The successful parts advisor will need to be smartly presented, conscientious and possess excellent communication skills. We are looking for an individual who is highly organised and efficient whilst having the ability to build a rapport with our valued customers and develop strong and open working relationships with the wider team.
