With a deeply lowered front, elongated silhouette and LED headlights which extend along the car’s sides, the Golf Estate has a distinctive look. The Golf Estate 8 has 16” ‘Norfolk’ alloy wheels, highlighting its sporty yet practical design. There is an optional tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof available which extends across the roof in the front of the car, providing impressive views of the sky and making the interior appear more spacious.
The Golf Estate 8 has plenty of space and innovative features to meet all of your needs. It has a generous loading volume of up to 1,642 litres and a height-adjustable flexible luggage compartment floor, making it perfect for all of your adventures. The optional Easy Open function allows you to open the luggage compartment lid by moving your foot under the rear of the vehicle, so you can open it hands free. The boot lid then shuts automatically once you press the interior button. You can enjoy a range of digital equipment, including the 10.25” Digital Cockpit instrument cluster displays which comes as standard.
The Digital Cockpit Pro can be upgraded to the Innovision Cockpit when combined with the optional Discover Pro. This merges both 10-inch displays together, displaying information such as the rev counter, speedometer and odometer. The optional heads-up display projects important information onto the windscreen directly in front of the driver, so you can stay focused on the road ahead. Intuitive voice control allows you to operate the radio, telephone, air conditioning system and navigation system using your voice, allowing you to safely stay connected.
With a range of driver assistance systems, you can drive with ease. The Car2X hazard warning function supports the driver with useful information, such as warnings about construction work or rescue vehicles. Lane Assist can detect when your vehicle has unintentionally left its lane and directs the driver’s attention back to driving via power steering. Adaptive Cruise Control with speed limiter helps you to set a maximum speed and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front. Other driver assistance features available include Side Assist, Park Assist and the optional Travel Assist.
