When I took my Golf into Yeomans for its annual MOT it turned out that it needed new shock absorbers before it could be passed. Tristan contacted VW and managed to ensure that the work would be done under warranty, which has saved me a considerable amount of money. He then went above and beyond in order to keep me posted on the work in progress during the time that the parts needed to be ordered and fitted. Maria on reception even gave me a very welcome lift back home, as I live in Wadebridge - several miles away. I felt very well informed and looked after by Tristan and Maria for the whole time that I had to do without my car. Terrific customer service from a VW garage I would highly recommend.

Whilst touring Cornwall in my VW T4 camper I suddenly developed a fault and lost power. I managed to identify the problem as being a faulty MAF Sensor. Unfortunately the part is no longer supplied by VW or TPS so I had to source a second hand part which I did. On trying to fit it myself I discovered that the part was fitted with anti tampering bolts and i didnt have the correct torx piece. I decided to try YeomansVW and spoke to 2 outstanding members of staff named George and Josh who went out of there way to improvise to remove the bolts and fit the new part. George in particular went the extra mile and was an absolute star and a credit to VW. Without his skill I would not have been able to continue my journey back to London. Thanks guys 5*

Recently bought a Polo GTI from Yeoman's and I can't fault the experience. I contacted them through Auto Trader initially and was contacted not that long afterwards. I dealt with Michael B who ran through all the details of the car that he knew about then sent a video and pictures. He was happy for me to scrutinize the pictures and was honest about imperfections he had noticed. That being said, it was a 50k mile car so it was probably going to have imperfections here and there. We went through different payment options and we settled on financing rather than buying outright. Michael passed me on the Mike W who was equally as pleasant to deal with. Answering and finding out answers to all of my questions. We set a date for picking up and I was picked up from the station. Most form's were checked and signed remotely so it was a smooth transaction when arriving to the dealership. I found the level of customer service from the team at different processes were fantastic. It's made me have faith in buying from dealership rather than 2nd hand dealerships and possibly even private sales as you have a higher level of protection. Thank you all again! I had a fantastic 250+ mile trip home.

I brought my troc there 6 months ago. The troc was lush and look really sleek and stylish. Clean interior and exterior, I really enjoying my troc so far. Rebekah has provided me a fantastic service for letting me buying the troc as she thinks it’s an best recommended car for me. After using it for 6 months, I bring the troc in for oil service. But the only thing they would charge me for replacing screen wiper and change tyres after finish oil change. Excellent customer service and having dealt with them before from my previous experience it would have been of just as good . I loved what was being sold . I admit i was slow in making a final decision, one the journey i have to make a sea crossing and the distance i had to travel but i would of made it and decision making . I asked if there was a minimum amount that VW lend as i heard differing stories which i could never clarify. i never got an answer. I wanted to pay the minimum .I offered to increase my financial input twice and asked how much difference that would make , but did not get an answer either . Mike i was not going to make a final decision unless i could afford it , whats the point . As i guess as i heard no more,you were no longer interested in dealing with me , thats your provocative. My £250 deposit although never seeing or driving the vehicle you can keep for all the work you had to do . As a customer still a pleasure to deal with you but feel let down that i did not get a reply on the VW finance or whether my injection of extra cash in which i increased to double the original amount had made a difference, but no answer? or whether VW have a minimum about you have to borrow? I’ve given Indian Queens Yeomans 3 stars. I seriously think that place is understaffed and well under pressure but after reading some of these reviews I too share the same sentiment that in all my experience of this place the customer service isn’t good enough for the money we pay! You’re talking VW here not Peugeot or Fiat… we’re talking about cars and vans that have a very good name in the motor trade but VW on a whole needs to build another VW centre in Cornwall preferably just for commercials. We pay a premium rate on our services and for a new or used motor from Yeomans so we expect a premium service and a call back when they say they’ll call back … then they don’t. I did get good customer service from Rachel and Graham but this needs to be a regular occurrence and not a rare occurrence. I’ll be buying a new van this year but unsure whether it’ll be a VW as I haven’t seen enough to convince me to do so.

Really bad customer service/ experience so far. - Updated as the issue has been resolved, but could have been handled better. From my experience they are at times a company that cannot be reached via phone (it took 3 different days during opening hours for a phone call to be answered), when finally getting through to them, they failed to put a job down for my upcoming appointment a month ago, a day before it's due to go in, sorry this was not noted down regarding this needed doing, so we cannot take the vehicle on this date, and asked me to rebook. I have made them aware of this a month ago and have taken time off work, I am really not happy. Really poor customer service from a main dealership. (Expecting a call back from the supervisor regarding this, so will update if resolved.) Update. After a callback from one of the team, stating the situation,and after some heated words regarding the service/ experience shown in relation to the situation, I was told I would get another callback after speaking to another team. I did personally not want to call this company as the heated words exchanged earlier was still in my mindset and did not want to escalate the situation further. Over 3 hours passed no contact from the company, so I decided to hop onto Volkswagens website / live chat and see if they could possibly step in. They were great, really helpful and understood the situation. Offered to get the appointment confirmed and apologised regarding the situation. To my suprise, they have confirmed the appointment with the live chat agent for the same date. I have updated this review as they have stuck to the original date offered, and have tried their best to get this fitted in as a *extra work* , but things should have not been confirmed on the original call if the work had not been noted / booked in correctly.

Popped in as our golf was due a major service, our agreement with VW was coming to an end. I was thinking of taking it elsewhere for the service & MOT until I went in and Hayley was there. She talked me through options for new finance on the service plan meaning I didn't have anything to pay on the day! our MOT was reasonable & the work the car needed doing was broken down into options (again by hayley) and made easy to understand! As a result of Hayley's customer service we signed up to a new service plan and had the recommended work done. Excellent Service Delivery is …..Only as good as the staff. Informative, regular updates and proactive, is how I’d describe Tristan Dodson, who went that “extra mile” today. Our car has been erratic, the adaptive cruise control along with the sign recognition / navigation system seamed to have a mind of its own. Tristan took ownership to establish the root cause of the issue, resolved and ensured all of the updates we’ve not received for the past 20 months were uploaded and applied. I emailed Tommy in need of a car and within the hour I'd received details on three different vehicles including a personal video tour of one. 2 hours later, I'd test driven and bought the car. I came away with a great deal and there wasn't one moment where I felt pressured into a decision. Nothing was too much trouble and Tommy seemed genuinely happy to help in whatever way he could. My Passat GTE went in for a service and diagnostic for gearbox error on the 4th of June. Cannot fault the lady I dealt with on service reception. However the vehicle had some very extensive work carried out and when it was returned to me the steering wheel was not centered and the car pulled to the left. I highlighted both issues after I had left and driven half way home (50 miles). They asked me to return the vehicle but I couldn't as I had to be back at work. I had to have the vehicle 4 wheel aligned elsewhere and one of the front wheels was 5 degrees out which was causing most of the problem. I was told both the technician and the workshop controller had driven the vehicle prior to it being released to me. Quite how they missed the steering wheel misalignment and the pull to the left amazes me . I could have returned the vehicle to have this rectified but its a 100 mile round trip and the time it takes so I decided not too. I am afraid its a typical main dealer story get the vehicles in and get them out as quickly as possible without properly checking . Although I blame VW for this as very often they set unrealistic targets on dealers. I also requested a list of parts that were fitted for the repair . As of today not seen any list. And just to round it off the car has started to shows signs of the same fault again.

Travelled some distance to purchase a vehicle from Carrs VW due to the excellent deal that was offered to us. Professional, helpful and friendly staff where nothing was too much trouble. Part exchanging our old car was effortless and paperwork/insurance organised with ease. Staff spent time demonstrating features of our new vehicle before we drove away. Extremely happy with our experience at Carrs and would definitely recommend to others looking to purchase a new VW.

I have a t6 transporter that needed an issue looked at under warranty. Once I had been introduced to the correct staff member, I explained my problem and was immediately dealt with in a very friendly and professional manner. It wasn't an urgent job so we arranged a book in time. They gave me a timescale of the job, and an estimated time to undertake the job. Once there I asked about another little niggle I've been having, again nothing major. Within the day, I was called to say my t6 was ready! I picked up my pride and joy and they said the next job needed a little more time, which I am very happy about as only asked them on the day about it. I've now been booked in for my other little job to be done! On driving my bus, I noticed an immediate difference in the drivability. I'm very pleased with whats been done so far. I was dealt with in a very professional and friendly and helpful. So pleased, thank you!

I drove 360 miles to Cornwall, and the EML like pinged on around 100 miles away. It was Sunday so called Carr’s on the Monday morning. They were polite and efficient, with me booked in for the next day at 0830. I arrived and Tom the service manager welcomed me in, took the details and got on the case. Within an hour Tom called, informed me of the issue and sorted it under warranty. I turned up for collection with my T6 cleaned and parked ready to go. Holiday saved!! What a great bunch! Thank you.

OMG! A main dealer who's workshop and parts dept actually helped without demanding to first plug in my car and charging me £70! Free yes free use of their wheel lock nut set got me out of a real jam and the cost of VW oil cheaper than ANYWHERE. A socket got stuck on a nut and a tech whipped it out without having to check with a computer or book the job in next week. THANKS GUYS XXX

Our trusty Volvo is close to expiring and is no longer what we need. Having thought about a suitable replacement we decided to see what VW had to offer as we are pleased with our other VW. I had a leased company car which needed to be looked at due to fault on my Skoda Octavia computers would not talk to each other. This fault left me able to see what speed I was traveling and basic indicators with nothing else working. This car did not come locally as it was a company car so was told to take to nearest main dealer. First off hard to get a loan vehicle in comparison to the one I had. So do VW pay badly for warranty work as it seem cars not to care. This cannot be level of care CARS AND HELSTON garages what to show! I love the vw group vehicles and have had several new cars personally and work. Very poor sales could have talked to see if I had a personal need for another car in my family.

Much better since becoming Yeomans VW, I am very particular about my alloys and having an immaculate car both mechanically and cosmetically and I am always very well looked after in that department. They treat the car with great care. Tristan, Alex and the team are very knowledgable in answering technical questions and are very helpful. Not the cheapest place ever, however I’d much rather the car be looked after and pay a bit extra. Great Service 👍
