As a Workshop Controller at Yeomans, you will be the heartbeat of our service department, organising workshop activity to drive efficiency, productivity, and excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Optimise workshop flow with daily allocation and distribution of work to technicians, maximising productivity, efficiency, and workshop capacity
• Drive performance by monitoring individual and team performance against KPIs, ensuring repair times align with manufacturer standards
• Act as a trusted bridge between the workshop and our service advisors providing clear explanations of repair needs and delivering accurate cost estimates. Your professionalism and exceptional communication skills will contribute to our high levels of customer satisfaction
• Uphold our reputation for excellence by overseeing and ensuring that all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer standards. Your meticulous attention to detail and guidance to the team will be instrumental in achieving this
• Stay abreast of the latest automotive technology and industry advancements. Participate in ongoing training and certification programs, enhancing your skills and knowledge
• Strictly adhere to safety and environmental regulations, ensuring a safe and responsible work environment

• Demonstrate leadership capability with the ability to motivate and build teams
• Exhibit exceptional communication and customer service skills, which are vital for fostering positive relationships
• Demonstrable experience in the automotive industry, showcasing your problem-solving and workshop organisation abilities
• Hold a valid UK driver's license
