The Crafter Tipper has a tough and versatile design and was created alongside conversion specialists Ingimex. The whole body has been designed to the latest European design standards, offering maintenance-free pivot bearings and tipper control via wander lead. The high-strength steel platform has retractable load lashing rings, with a 400 kg loading capacity on the front bulkhead ladder rack. The Crafter Tipper offers high visibility, thanks to the manual tail board with tip-over and tip-through function which is finished in yellow and red reflective markings. The traction control system prevents wheelspin, whilst electronic differential lock distributes the engine torque to the individual wheels to prevent slipping.
The Crafter Tipper offers a payload of between 772 to 1081 kg to make light work of heavy loads, with a load length of 3,350 mm and a load width of 2,026 mm. There are six internal load lashing points on deck to securely stow your load. Available with optional ergoComfort seats, experience extra support to make longer journeys more comfortable. Inside, there are a wide range of storage solutions to create a clutter-free interior, including sturdy cup holders, a large glove box, lower dashboard tray and storage in the doors. Plus, the Crafter Tipper is available with a heated leather multi-function steering wheel for extra comfort.
Experience superb connectivity with the Crafter Tipper, with a Composition Audio radio system which has a 5-inch display and comes with a USB and mobile phone interface. The Composition Colour radio system has a 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen colour display with two USB-C ports, Bluetooth and four speakers which deliver an output of 20 watts. Or, choose the optional Discover Media satellite navigation system which has a proximity sensor and allows you to stream services, listen to the radio and access other infotainment services.
With a range of driver assistance features, the Crafter Tipper helps you to stay safe on the road. Front Assist uses a radar sensor to detect when the vehicle in front is too close and City Emergency Braking automatically prepares the brakes when travelling up to 18 mph if a collision is likely to occur. Automatic Post-Collision Braking helps to prevent follow-on collisions, whilst Electromechanical Servotronic steering provides steering precision which was previously non-existent in commercial vehicles. Optional Lane Assist countersteers the vehicle if the driver unintentionally drifts from a lane and the Driver Alert System recommends the driver to take a break when it registers behaviour which indicates tiredness.
