Citroën’s sponsorship of “First Dates” began in January 2018 for a two years partnership.

The sponsorship will include multiple series of First Dates, as well as the return of First Dates Hotel where the team will welcome a whole host of hopeful singletons to a tailor-made matchmaking experience in Italy.

If you are yet to have seen First Dates here's how it works...

Each episode shows a number of couples having dinner in a unique restaurant in which everyone is on a first date. Viewers see the daters from the moment they meet until the meal is over, sharing the highs of lows of each couple's date. At the end of each date, the couple come together to decided... will the daters see each other again?

Currently running is First Dates Hotel where Fred and the team help British singletons find love in the sun in a secluded romantic getaway based near Naples in Italy...I challenge anyone not to fall in love there!

• Driving etiquette is different in Italy. A driver flashing their lights, for example, means they’re not going to stop!
• Unless stated by road signs, priority should be given to vehicles coming from the right. Priority should also be given to cyclists near cycle paths and pedestrians already on crossings. If police or emergency vehicles are using sirens or lights, you must give them right of way too.
• You aren’t allowed to use a mobile phone when driving in Italy, but you can use hands-free or a Bluetooth device.
• A lot of Italian city centres include resident-only sectors called “zona traffico limitado (ZTL)” these are signposted, and accidentally driving into one can result in a fine.
• In built-up areas, you can only park on the right-hand side of a road with two-way traffic. In one-way streets, you can park on either side of the road provided there is at least three metres of clear space left in the middle of the road.

The First Dates Hotel’s real name is Aquapetra Resort & Spa, which is based in Italy. The hotel was originally an 18th century hamlet and boasts 60 acres of gardens and olive groves
