The New Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid offers zero compromise through combining the advantages of driving in electric mode
for most daily journeys, with the flexibility of an efficient PureTech petrol
engine for longer journeys. The plug-in hybrid emits just 30g/km of CO2 when combined
with the petrol engine and has a low BIK rate of just 11%.
The New Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid has a body style
which combines traditional saloon and practical estate with SUV cues. It
features an aerodynamic design with a long bonnet, high waistline and flared
rear wheel arches. The new V-shaped light signature incorporates LED headlights
which show the C5 X Plug-in Hybrid’s distinguished lines. Thanks to its higher
ground clearance compared to a traditional saloon, the New Citroën C5 X Plug-in
Hybrid benefits from an elevated driving position.
Inside, the New Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid features Citroën
Advanced Comfort suspension, offering the ultimate comfort and a flying carpet
effect. The Advanced Comfort seats incorporate thicker high-density foam which
provides better suppression of vibration. The spacious boot has been designed
with the feel of an estate, thanks to its wide and square opening with a low
loading threshold and a flat floor when the rear seat is folded down.
The New Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid is suitable for most
daily commutes, with an electric driving range of up to 31 miles, 0g/km of CO2
emissions generated at tailpipe whilst driving and you can cruise quietly in
100% electric mode at speeds of up to 83 mph. The C5 X Plug-in Hybrid provides
a smooth driving experience, offering a combined torque of 360 Nm and the
choice of four driving modes: Electric, Hybrid, Comfort and Sport. The brake
mode feature recovers energy normally lost under braking and deceleration back
into the traction battery.
The MyCitroën app allows you to check the charging status
and remaining charge time of your C5 X Plug-in Hybrid, view its driving range,
schedule deferred charging and pre-set the passenger cabin temperature. The New
Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid features intuitive interfaces, which allow you to
view the power level or driving range in electric mode, manage energy flows,
statistics and deferred charging schedule and to view charging information
including the remaining charge time, driving range recovered and charge level.
