Hat-Trick of Awards as Citroë​n Launches New ë​-C3 and C3

Order books are now open for the New Citroën ë-C3, which has already won a multitude of awards. The model has been crowned 'Car of the Year' and 'Affordable Electric Car of the Year' at the 2024 Auto Express New Car Awards, whilst the C3 won 'Supermini of the Year'.

The Auto Express panel is made up of experienced judges, who were impressed by both models' dynamic design, cutting-edge technology and spacious interior, as well as the exceptional driving experience. This was the first time in the awards history that Citroë​n has won the 'Car of the Year' title. 

Chaired by Editor Paul Barker, the Auto Express awards seek to inform buyers about the very best vehicles available on the market, across a variety of sectors.

The New ë-C3 is the first model from parent company Stellantis to feature the new and 'BEV-focussed' Smart Car platform, featuring a 44kWh LFP battery to deliver up to 199 miles of electric driving range. Its standard AC fast charging capacity can power from 20 - 80% in just over four hours using a 7.4kW charger, or just under three hours when using the optional 11.kW on-board charger. Alternatively, its 100kW DC charging capabilities allows charging from 20 - 80% in just 26 minutes.

The model ensures everyday drives are easy and enjoyable, especially in urban and suburban areas. The New ë-C3 can accelerate from 0 - 62mph in around 10 seconds thanks to its 113hp electric motor and automatic transmission. Wherever it roams, the vehicle delivers best-in-class comfort and an outstanding level of equipment as standard, making it exceptional value for money.
