Volkswagen has unveiled the second-generation T-Roc, showcasing a bold new design, distinctive trims choices, plus an advanced drive system. Inside, it features a redesigned cockpit, an upgraded infotainment display, and a more spacious cabin with a larger luggage area. Exterior Design

Bigger and more confident, the new T-Roc debuts a striking design. Building on the success of its predecessor, it is 12 cm longer and features a sleeker front end, distinctive bumpers, and a more dynamic overall presence.

Lighting is central to the new T-Roc’s refreshed design. Standard LED headlights define the front, while optional IQ.LIGHT matrix LEDs connect seamlessly to an illuminated white Volkswagen logo via a sleek light strip. At the rear, a continuous LED crossbar enhances the car’s presence, with a red illuminated Volkswagen logo offered on the Style and R-Line trims.

Interior Design

​Luxurious yet practical, the interior of the new T-Roc has been extensively updated. Its modern design blends premium finishes with exceptional functionality, offering generous legroom and a versatile load capacity of up to 1,350 litres—making it ideal for daily use.

The spacious cabin is perfectly suited for families and long journeys. Even with front passengers taller than 1.85 metres, those of similar height can sit comfortably in the rear thanks to the model’s extra 12 cm in length. For the first time in the T-Roc, the Style trim will also offer an electrically adjustable 14-way ergoActive seat with massage function. Meanwhile, boot volume has increased by 30 litres, now providing 475 litres when loaded to the height of the rear seat backrests.

Technology

At the centre of the cabin, a 32.7 cm (12.9-inch) touchscreen offers intuitive control of navigation, media, and key vehicle functions. The entry-level T-Roc comes equipped with the Composition radio, featuring digital DAB+ reception, a Bluetooth mobile phone interface, and two USB-C ports with charging capacity of up to 60 W.

The cabin’s atmosphere is further enhanced by fabric-laminated surfaces, 30-colour ambient lighting (excluding Life trim), illuminated door panels, and ArtVelours seats in Soul Black or Mistral. For added comfort, the 3-zone Climatronic air conditioning system (not available on Life) ensures a refined environment on every journey.

Performance

The new T-Roc introduces a range of innovative hybrid turbocharged petrol engines. Two 48V mild-hybrid options (1.5 eTSI) will be offered, delivering 85 kW (116 PS) and 110 kW (150 PS). These will be joined by two all-new full-hybrid systems, both equipped with front-wheel drive. Looking ahead, the T-Roc R will join the line-up as the most powerful variant. All 1.5 and 2.0 mild-hybrid models come standard with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission for smooth and efficient performance.​
