01New Toyota YarisEnergy, spirit and style collide in the new Toyota Yaris. At home in the city, along the motorway and on country lanes, you can go anywhere in this new punchy supermini. It’s economical to drive too, and there’s the option of a hybrid model that utilises electricity for even lower running costs. Choose from six trim levels: Active, Icon, Icon Tech, Design, Excel and Bi-Tone.
02Exterior designWith its taut body, the Yaris is perfectly suited to the city. It’s compact and has a small turning circle, making it easy to park and manoeuvre around tight corners. The short bonnet helps, and the long, sloping windscreen gives you an exceptional road view, helping you to see around bends. Athletic flair comes in the form of the wide, triangular grille that gives the nose an open look, along with intricately-designed headlights with daytime running lights built in. For a sportier Yaris, choose the Design trim which has a rear spoiler, honeycomb grille and privacy glass, or the Bi-Tone to get all this and the option to select two paint colours for the exterior.
05Safety & technologyA long equipment list makes the new Toyota Yaris particularly attractive. All cars get Bluetooth® connectivity for making calls on the go and a USB connector so you can listen to music on an MP3. Upgrade to the Icon and above and you will benefit from a seven-inch touchscreen for controlling all the infotainment. Colour screened and easy to use, it helps to keep the dashboard free from lots of buttons and switches. Use it to make calls and adjust the music. A reversing camera will also display on the screen, helping you to park without scratching the paintwork. The Icon Tech adds satellite navigation too. To help you stay safe whether you’re in the city, on the motorway or hitting country lanes, the Yaris comes with Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control which prevent you from skidding and swerving. Hill Start Assist makes it easier and safer to leave junctions on an incline, and Lane Departure Alert lets you know if you start to veer along the motorway.
