01Toyota AygoLaunched in 2014, the Toyota Aygo is a fun and feisty model that’s ideal for first-time buyers and busy urbanites alike. The latest version has raised the bar in terms of looks and equipment, sporting sharp new styling and a host of features that ensure it stays on trend. As you’d expect, there are plenty of customisation options too, meaning you can tailor your Aygo to suit your personality.
02Exterior designThe striking ‘X’ design of the Aygo’s nose – which has drawn so many to it previously – is still a prominent feature, ensuring it’ll continue to turn heads while out on the road. Changes include an emphasised grille, while the angular headlights now boast LED daytime running lights. The tail lights have been tweaked too, and a range of new paint colours and alloy wheel options are available. The Aygo’s sleek profile has remained intact, with the rising waistline complementing the slender shapes and gentle curves of the body to give a chic and dynamic look.
05Safety & technologyA city car needs to be able to protect not only its occupants, but pedestrians too. As such, stability control and anti-lock brakes are in place to help reduce the chance of an accident, while Hill-start Assist Control ensures there’s no accidental rolling when you’re pulling away on an incline. Should the worst happen, airbags are fitted to minimise injury, and those with infants will appreciate the ISOFIX anchor points in the rear. Technology is a strength of the Toyota Aygo too. Entry-level models come with an audio system and USB port, while stepping up a trim brings a multimedia system with a 7.0-inch touchscreen and heated door mirrors. Choose a higher spec model and you can add Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and navigation to the equipment list.
