On the 15th July 2025 the UK Government announced a new £650m Electric Car Grant (ECG) scheme. This is part of the UK’s Plan for Change to help households save money and speed up the switch to greener, zero-emission cars.
The Electric Car Grant offers banded grant levels for vehicles priced at £37,000 or below, with eligibility criteria based on the sustainability of vehicle manufacturing (see Gov.uk for further details).
We are pleased to share that the E-208, E-2008, and E-Rifter have now been officially approved for the government’s electric vehicle grant — offering a £1,500 saving to eligible retail customers. In anticipation of further confirmation, we’re also extending this £1,500 saving to the E-308, E-308 SW, and E-408, ensuring you can enjoy the benefits of electric driving without delay.
Grants will be allocated and approved by Department of Transport’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles on first served basis so please register your interest with Yeomans PEUGEOT today to take advantage of this offer.

The following new Peugeot vehicles are eligible for the Grant: E-208, E-2008, E-308, E-408 & E-Rifter (the “Qualifying Vehicles”). The Grant is available at the point of order to private retail customers who are UK residents only. It applies to the Qualifying Vehicles, ordered from 16 July 2025.The Grant will be deducted from the on-the-road Manufacturer Recommended Retail Price (“MRRP”) of the Qualifying Vehicles at the point of order and cannot be redeemed for cash or combined with any other retail offer unless explicitly stated. It is valid up to the next scheduled service and reactivated for vehicles up to 8 years old or 100,000 miles, whichever happens first.
