As a family run business, Yeomans Peugeot continues to play a large role in the Sussex community, which extends beyond supplying motorists with new and used cars. We proudly support events taking place close to our Hastings and Worthing dealerships in order to help our fellow residents, and will be in attendance to enjoy the following gatherings during 2014. We look forward to seeing you there too!
The Splash FM Garden Party returns to Steyne Gardens this year, and Yeomans Peugeot is pleased to be the main sponsor for a celebration of two iconic global acts – ABBA and Stevie Wonder. Join us on Saturday, July 19 for great live music from these tribute acts, supported by local artists The Alice Band and Violet.
Also kicking-off on Saturday, July 19 is the Bexhill-on-Sea carnival, and this year the event is based on the theme ‘Story Books & Nursery Rhymes’. A number of exciting events will take place across the area during the week-long carnival, which culminates in the traditional procession from Turkey Road at 1pm.
Taking place in July is Hastings Pirate Day on Sunday, July 20, which holds a Guinness World Record for organising the largest gathering of pirates in one place. Yeomans will be among the swashbuckling attendees to admire Jack Sparrow look-alikes, observe the Old Town Drummers parade and enjoy more live music. The Pirate Day will take place at Hastings Old Town, close to the Smugglers Adventure attraction, fittingly.
As the Bexhill carnival draws to a close, Hastings Old Town Week begins on Saturday, July 26. Here, we'll be doing our bit to help the wide variety of charities that benefit from the occasion, which sees residents host special events to raise funds for the community.
As 2014 draws to a close, we'll be sponsoring the Worthing Lions Fireworks display, which never fails to attract a large crowd to watch the impressive display. Organised by the Worthing Lions Club charity, the event will be held at Worthing Pier on the evening of Wednesday, 5 November.
