By using your qualifying mobility allowance, you can enjoy the freedom of a brand-new Mazda with ease. The all-inclusive Motability Scheme package includes insurance cover for up to three drivers, all your service, MOT, and routine repair costs, plus breakdown cover through the RAC.
To assist those that may not already have a home charging point, you will receive a half-price Pod-Point 7kw Tethered Home Charger~ or a Solo 7kw Universal Home Charger~ when choosing the new 2025 Mazda CX-60 Plug-in Hybrid.
For those that require certain vehicle adaptations such as hand controls or wheelchair hoists, you can select these when ordering your Mazda and these will be pre-installed ready for when you collect your vehicle.
Anybody who receives a qualifying mobility allowance and has at least 12 months remaining can apply to join the Motability Scheme. If you do not currently receive a qualifying mobility allowance you can apply to the Department of Work and Pensions and, if successful, exchange this for a Motability Scheme vehicle.
If you are eligible for the Motability Scheme, all you need to do is contact Yeomans Mazda Bexhill on 01424 863003 to arrange an appointment and book your test drives. Should you wish to order a vehicle, we will finish your application for you.
An Advance Payment is the upfront payment required for some of the larger or higher specification Mazda vehicles. It is paid in addition to your weekly mobility allowance. It covers the difference between the cost of your car and your allowance paid over the length of your agreement.
If eligible, you can apply for your provisional licence three months before your 16th birthday, it will be valid once you turn 16. Then you can learn to drive in your Motability Scheme vehicle. For those that qualify, the Motability Scheme can fund up to 40 hours of driving lessons.
Other drivers with a provisional licence need to be 21 or older. There can only be one learner driver on your Certificate of Motor Insurance at a time. You can only have one driver under 21 on your Certificate of Motor Insurance. Unless they’re the customer, drivers under 21 need to hold a full driving licence.
