Exterior Design
The New TUCSON showcases its distinctive grille alongside upgraded Daytime Running Lights (DRL) which become illuminated when the car is switched on, refreshed front and rear bumpers, and brand-new wheel designs offered across all trim options. The updated front bumper and skid plates now seamlessly extend from side to side, imparting a dynamic and visually broader stance. At the rear, integrated skid plates within the bumper moulding are horizontally expanded, emphasising a wider wheelbase.
Redesigned Interior
The interior focuses on spaciousness and practicality, highlighted by a revamped dashboard. The redesigned centre console incorporates heating and ventilation controls, along with buttons for frequently used functions. Additionally, the automatic and hybrid powertrains include a wireless charging pad integrated into the centre armrest. The New TUCSON also offers an updated dual curved 12.3" digital screen that showcases the new look infotainment graphics and digital driver display.
Performance
Various powertrain choices are available, based around the 1.6-litre petrol SmartStream turbocharged engine known for its efficiency. Options comprise the standard engine paired with a 6-speed manual and 2WD, a 48-volt Mild Hybrid with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission available in 2WD or 4WD, a Hybrid with a 6-speed automatic transmission available in 2WD or 4WD, and a Plug-in Hybrid with a 6-speed automatic transmission available in 2WD or 4WD.
