Exterior Design

The optional LED headlights are designed to provide greater visibility when you’re driving through the night, whilst the Dynamic Light Assist partially conceals areas of the main beam when it detects oncoming traffic, to avoid dazzling other drivers. Choose the optional 1.4 square metre panoramic sunroof to brighten the interior and enjoy incredible views of the sky above. The Touran has a practical design, with rear tinted glass to offer privacy and stylish silver roof rails for carrying any additional luggage. 

Interior Design

There’s enough room in the Touran for all of the family, with three full size seats in the second row and two seats in the third row. All the rear seats can be folded down when not in use, creating a flat loading floor. There is also a centre console for holding any small items, whilst the seat belt recognition system ensures that everyone has their seatbelt fastened. The Climatronic air conditioning system allows the driver, front passenger and those sitting on the rear bench to individually control their temperature settings, whilst filtering the air coming in from pollen and other forms of pollution. Plus, ambient lighting is built into the roof, illuminating when the doors are opened and dimming when they are shut.​

Technology

Keep connected on the road thanks to useful infotainment options. The Composition Media Infotainment system allows you to display compatible apps on the dashboard, including Spotify, Stitcher and Apple Music. The Composition Colour Radio has a 16.5cm colour screen and comes with four loudspeakers to deliver an impressive performance, whilst the Composition Media radio double has eight loudspeakers to give an added boost. Use the optional driving profile selection to save your driving profile settings in a personalised profile, including the drive, steering, dual clutch gearbox and air conditioning settings. 

Safety

A wide range of driver assistance systems are available to keep you safe on the roads, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist and Front Assist. Adaptive Cruise Control measures the speed and distance of the vehicle in front to ensure that you aren’t too close, whilst the emergency braking system helps you deal with any unexpected driving situations. The Touran has radar sensors in the rear to detect any vehicles behind you and will warn you via an icon in the rear-view mirror. Front Assist lets you know if it detects a possible collision via an acoustic and visual warning and prepares the car for emergency braking.
