Mobile Online Services

Mobile online services provide instant connection when on the move. All new Commercial Vehicle models can access a range of internet services*. We Connect lets you access services via your smartphone and Volkswagen App, including Breakdown Call, Parking Position, Service Scheduling, Lock & Unlock, Emergency Call Service & Online Anti-Theft Alarm.

Amazon Alexa 

With the Amazon Alexa** in-car app, life has never felt more convenient and connected.The Alexa system can be directly integrated into your Multivan or ID.Buzz's infotainment system, so you can use the voice command 'Alexa' like you usually would. You'll be able to plan your day, draw up a shopping list, heat your home in advance all without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

Car-net

Car-net is available to guide and inform you throughout your journey so you always feel in control. Car-net provides you with important information such as real-time traffic updates and up to date guidance to the nearest petrol station. It can even let you know when it is time to book your van's service. Car-net services are available on previous Crafter, Caddy and Amarok models

App Connect

App-Connect ensures that no matter where your adventures take you, you can still have access to your most important apps whilst on the move. App-Connect allows you to use a selected range of apps via the dashboard of your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle, making it easier than ever to keep connected.

Apple Music

Apple Music is available free of charge for up to six months1, when you activate mobile online services in your vehicle. All owners of a new vehicle from model year 2018 onwards are just a few easy steps away from accessing unlimited music and enjoying a great soundtrack to every drive.

*To use mobile online services, you need a Volkswagen ID user account and must log in with your user name and password. A separate mobile online services contract will also need to be made online with Volkswagen AG. Mobile online services are not available with Transporter 6.1 chassis cab.​
