Exterior Design

The new Amarok offers improved off-road capability and optional V6 power, making it the perfect outdoor companion. This completely revised Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle has a slightly wider wheelbase, providing a higher slope angle which improves off-road capabilities. Other highlights include modern IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, optional alloy wheels of up to 21-inches and new exterior styling packages. Depending on the version, the radiator grille merges into a horizontal division of the front sector, or into an X-shaped design in the top trim levels. Thanks to its flat surface, the Amarok has a roof load capacity of 350 kg, making it ideal for transporting equipment. ​

Interior Design

Inside, the Amarok offers versatility through its sufficient loading space which can house a Euro pallet if loaded crosswise. The loading area has LED lighting so you can safely load and unload in the dark, whilst the load compartment cover keeps all of your equipment safe. Offering a premium look, the Amarok has a fine leather look on the instrument panel and door trim surfaces. Ambient lighting is available to illuminate the interior and create a pleasant experience, whilst the Digital Cockpit has an 8-inch instrument cluster with a 12-inch display optionally available.

Technology

The Amarok offers the latest technology, such as state-of-the-art airbags and assistance systems. Choose the Harman Kardon sound system with 14 high-performance speakers for an impressive sound experience. As standard, the Amarok has a multifunction steering wheel, giving you direct control to a range of features. Use the touchscreen Digital Cockpit to easily browse your favourite music, find destinations and adjust your vehicle’s settings. Safety

With over 30 assistance systems, the Amarok is well-equipped to provide a safe and relaxing journey. The VW Connect Navigation package offers additional mobile online services, including navigation maps, current traffic information and access to certain points of interest. Lane Assist countersteers the vehicle if the driver unintentionally drifts from a lane, whilst the Light Assist works alongside the IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights to avoid dazzling other road users. The Area View System has four onboard cameras, providing a 180-degree view of your blind spots so you can reverse out of parking spaces with ease.
