With its bold and distinctive look, vast interior and clever design features, the Fiat Qubo makes an excellent choice for active families.
The Qubo gives you an attractive combination of style and practicality. Sliding side doors make for easy access into the vehicle, and are a real bonus when you find other cars have got a bit too close in the car park. New colours added to the previous colour range are Magnetic Bronze and Hillbilly Azure. The Qubo is available in three trim levels: Pop, Lounge and Trekking. Extra features on the Lounge edition include front fog lights and 16-inch diamond-finish alloy wheels. The Trekking gets a more rugged look, with skid plate, roof rails and dark tinted windows.
Despite its relatively small footprint – the overall length is just 3.96 metres - the Qubo’s interior measures a remarkable 2,500 litres, of which 330 litres make up the boot. Storage space can be significantly expanded thanks to the flexible seating arrangements. You can configure and reconfigure the seating to your heart’s content, with 16 different options available. Rear seats can be folded down or removed completely when storage space is needed.
All models are well equipped, with plenty of features for your comfort and convenience. Door mirrors are heated and electrically adjustable, and the driver’s seat has lumbar support as well as being height-adjustable. New graphics for the instrument panel look stylish and make it even easier to read at a glance. Additional features provided in the Trekking trim include cruise control and parking sensors.
Beneath the bonnet you can choose to have a 1.4-litre petrol engine, or a 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel. There are two versions of the diesel engine – 80hp or 95hp, with the 95hp engine being exclusive to the Trekking trim. The Trekking edition has the added benefit of Fiat’s Traction+ system, which distributes torque between the front wheels in such a way as to maximise traction on challenging terrain. The petrol engine returns 40mpg, with CO2 emissions of 161g/km, while the diesel versions emit 118g/km CO2 and will give 70.6mpg with the 80hp edition and 62mpg with the 95hp engine.
A new MP3 compatible radio system comes with six speakers and a five-inch touchscreen, and you also get AUX, USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Tom Tom navigation helps to make your journeys easier by finding the best route for you. ABS with EBD is fitted as standard, as are ESC and a tyre pressure monitoring system. ISOFIX anchorage points in the rear keep younger passengers secure.
