TPS Van Sales Driver- TPS Indian Queens

As a TPS Van Sales Driver, your primary responsibility is to deliver and collect parts efficiently, ensuring accuracy and minimising damage. You will develop and maintain strong customer relationships, leveraging them to sell additional products and meet van sales targets.

Key Responsibilities include:

Deliveries:

  • Check orders with invoices, addressing any anomalies and informing the Warehouse team.
  • Efficiently load all parts onto the delivery van, completing delivery logs accurately.
  • Obtain authorised signatures and printed names from customers for all delivered parts and ensure invoices are received by customers.
  • Collaborate with TPS colleagues for the efficient delivery of parts.
  • Drive safely and courteously, following driver behaviour guidelines.
  • Return cash credits to customers in line with established processes.

Customer:

  • Represent TPS professionally, understanding the TPS Brand Values & USP.
  • Provide excellent customer service through knowledgeable, courteous, and responsive van delivery.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour as the face of TPS.
  • Report customer complaints to the Sales Manager.
  • Plan direct routes, considering delivery references and customer priority.
  • Deliver and collect parts efficiently and timely.

Internal Sales:

  • Achieve sales targets by building excellent customer relationships.
  • Stay updated on promotional campaigns and share marketing messages/promotions with customers.
  • Provide feedback to the Sales Manager on potential sales information gathered during delivery runs.
  • Seek additional sales opportunities and collaborate with TPS sales colleagues.

Systems and Processes:

  • Ensure compliance with business standards, financial, legal, and ethical guidelines.
  • Report accidents or incidents immediately to the direct line manager.
  • Maintain vans in a clean and roadworthy condition, adhering to TPS guidelines.
  • Economise on fuel costs and adhere to safe driving guidelines.
  • Adhere to manual handling guidelines and vehicle payloads.
  • Correctly use and store personal protective equipment.

Other:

  • Assist with picking parts and perpetual stock checking as required by the Warehouse Team.
  • Maintain a tidy and rubbish-free centre.
  • Utilise training courses to continually develop and maintain skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Sales experience and ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Knowledge of vehicle parts – desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
