Experienced Technician at Citroën Exeter

At Yeomans Citroën Exeter we are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join our friendly and busy team. The successful candidate will have previous franchise dealer experience in a similar role, plus you will have access to regular support and technical information.

Within the centre, we utilise the latest diagnostic technology, tools and best practice processes so you can offer our customers the very best assistance with their service or repair. As part of your role you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, servicing and MOT testing of the full range of Citroën vehicles.

Location: Yeomans Citroen, Marsh Barton Trading Estate, Exeter, Devon, EX2 8NP 11 Hennock Rd

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
• 1 in 2 Saturday mornings at overtime rate
• Overtime paid at time and a half

About the Role:
As an experienced Vehicle Technician at Yeomans Citroen, you will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, depending on your skills and experience. Your role will include:

• Performing comprehensive services, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles, covering both minor and major mechanical work
• Diagnosing and completing electrical and engine repairs with precision and expertise
• Utilising state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues
• Ensuring that your workspace remains clean, organised, and adheres to health and safety standards
• Engaging with customers when required to explain the findings from vehicle inspections and offering clear, professional advice on necessary repairs

The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an individual who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or an equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in car servicing and repair, gained either within a main dealership, independent garage, or another professional automotive environment
• A friendly, respectful, and professional attitude when interacting with customers and colleagues
• A full, valid UK driving licence is essential
