Honda HR-V Compact SUV Set For Summer Launch

Honda HR-V Compact SUV

An all-new compact SUV that provides 4x4 styling and visibility with the refinement, economy and handling of a supermini, the Honda HR-V is a sporty yet highly practical option for families and business users alike and an exciting new step for the manufacturer. This versatile model will soon be available in Comfort, Sport and Executive at Honda dealers nationwide – including the Yeomans Honda locations in Bognor Regis, Farnham, Guildford and Worthing.

The HR-V’s front profile, with its imposing fascia, sharp wraparound headlights and wide front grille bisected by a thick chrome bar, gives it a domineering look on the road. Its rakish roofline, the rising strakes of its side panels and its two-tone alloy wheels, meanwhile, add an athletic tone to the overall

The spacious interior is equally impressive, boasting loadspace of 453 litres – a figure which can be increased to 1,026 litres with the rear seats folded flat. Honda’s “Magic Seats” also allow occupants to adjust their seats for maximum space and comfort, whilst flawless build quality and the use of chrome accents enhance the sophisticated look of the cabin.

The front-wheel drive HR-V comes with a choice of two engines – a vigorous 130PS i-VTEC petrol unit and an economical 120PS i-DTEC diesel motor. A smooth six-speed manual transmission is standard to both models, but the petrol edition can be fitted with a CVT automatic gearbox. Both engines provide excellent refinement, resulting in minimal noise, vibration and harshness.

A high-tensile steel structure and multiple airbags keep the occupants of the HR-V safe from harm in the event of a collision. All models come with the manufacturer’s autonomous emergency braking system, which automatically senses a collision and depresses the brake pedal to bring you to a halt. Sport and Executive specifications add Lane Departure Warning and Traffic Light Recognition systems to ensure that no potentially dangerous errors occur if the driver is fatigued or distracted.

The Honda Connect app-based infotainment system, meanwhile, uses the same touchscreen functionality as a smartphone, permitting users to gain access to the internet – meaning that traffic and weather information is immediately available as long as a limitless variety of online radio stations. Honda’s App Centre enables you to gain the use of a large number of other functions, such as its integrated Garmin satellite navigation system.

The all-new Honda HR-V will be released during the summer of 2015. Get in touch with the helpful sales team at your nearest Yeomans Honda dealership for further information about this new model.
