All Citroën C4 Picasso's are inherently safe, thanks to their sophisticated suspension design, but the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) adds a further level of security. By monitoring progress through a bend, it senses whether over steer or under steer is developing, modifying engine torque and applying a precise measure of braking for ultimate stability and control.

C4 Picasso also feature's a driver’s airbag in the fixed-centred controls steering wheel. Because of this unique design, the main driver’s airbag can deploy at exactly the right angle for maximum protection. This airbag also automatically adjusts the pressure and volume of deployment, depending on the force of a collision. Front seats also hide two further side airbags and passengers in outer seats are protected by curtain airbags

Hill Start Assist function also helps the driver to set off or manoeuvre on gradients. When the brake pedal is released, the ESP automatically maintains a stationary position for up to two seconds, offering the driver the time to move their foot from the brake to the accelerator without the vehicle moving forwards or backwards on a slope. C4 Picasso gives you what you need when you need it.
